Styled Candle Co. Candle Information
At Styled Candle Co, we have put together the following details for your information to assure you that we produce high-end, deluxe candles for you to give as gifts to your guests.
We use a Soy Wax blend to ensure the strongest scent throw achievable from wax candles. Each candle is individually hand-poured, around an all cotton wick, into our translucent, white tint, premium glassware.
We choose to pour into the translucent glass, as this eliminates any signs of glass adhesion that is a natural phenomenon, that sometimes occurs in candle making. It is usually related to climate conditions, which is completely left to mother nature and out of our control. We understand that it is important for your candles to appear absolutely perfect in every aspect. The fact is that glass adhesion is quite noticeable in clear glass. Glass adhesion does not in any way interfere with the performance of the candle, the burn time or the scent throw. It is purely a visual effect. Some people describe it as a ‘bubble’ effect on the side of the glass. It is actually just the wax not adhering to the sides of the glassware in some areas. It happens particularly in extreme temperature changes. Noticeable changes from comfortable temperatures to drops in cool climate or rises in warmer climates. It is our preference to pour into the white tint or frosted, pearl glass, to reduce any visible signs of glass adhesion. However, if you choose to go with clear glass, it is at your discretion and we cannot accept any responsibility if glass adhesion occurs once your order has left our studios.
We will always advise you via email that your order has been shipped. If you have not received it within 2 to 3 business days, please contact us immediately. If your order is urgent and you have not received it in the expected time frame, there is no way for us to track it for you after business hours – i.e. Friday night, Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays. We do our best to fill and deliver your order in time for your event. Again, once it leaves our studio, it is out of our hands with the courier or Australia Post. We rarely have any issues, but it is your responsibility to keep us advised if it has not been received and your event date is very near. We are able to track it and find out where it is, but again, during business hours only and before Friday lunchtime if you are expecting it for that weekend.
